I have to confess of fact that in first round I advice my Russian friends to back an Iran against Mexico. They played as expected but the result was not so positive. I was proud of my predict because an Asian team was the better one on the pitch.

Yesterday Iran’s head coach Branko Ivankovich said: “My players not under pressure. We are continuing as usual to prepare for the upcoming clash and trying to perform our best. We lost to Mexico due to terrible mistakes of some individuals. Iran was better team that day.” Absolutely agree with words of Croatian coach.

There are played matches of first round in Germany and some of the second, that is why I try to make betweenness resume. Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia – good teams, which know how attack and defense, but Iran probably most differ from that trio by high-class attacking and position football. Such players as Karmi, Mahdavikia and Hashemyan quite reasonable can get a success, even more so other players not a worse a lot.

Some doubts with Ronaldo and Deco are on the Portugal side. They picked up an injuries and now training by special program. I don’t like that participation which was showed against Angola by Pyreneans. And the main problem is a midfield line where Costinia and Maniche are in bad from, but Tiago and Petit not so good enough.

It is rather probable that Iran and this time conceded some stupid goal, but on the other side they are underestimated by bookies, in my opinion.
